Jordan previously held management positions with corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies. She has now returned to her first loves, entertaining and writing, with an unwavering mission to affect others through positivity, gratitude, and service!Jordan began performing as a child, acting and appearing as a soloist in various productions. She was in a theatrical performing group and studied vocals privately at the renowned Boston Conservatory of Music. From 1999 – 2003 Jordan managed the successful Hollywood acting career of a young award-nominated performer who appeared in commercials, music videos, and television guest-starring roles with Emmy winners and an Oscar nominee.Most recently, Jordan undertook three roles in a fundraiser to combat violence against women. She appeared in the pilot for NBC's blockbuster hit "The Blacklist" and Marvel's tentatively titled film "Freezer Burn," scheduled for release in Spring 2014. Jordan also starred on the big screen in the short film "Sparks Fly.” Jordan's performing role model is the late Emmy-winning actress Kathryn Joosten, who is best known as Mrs. Landingham in "The West Wing" and Karen McCluskey in "Desperate Housewives." Jordan was privileged to know Kathy, a caring, tenacious lady who did not let age or naysayers discourage her from embarking upon an entertainment career in her later years.Jordan's writing and spiritual role model is Louise L. Hay, founder of the world-renowned publishing company Hay House. Miss Hay adopted a positive outlook and forged ahead with her mission to help others live a life of happiness and gratitude, this despite difficult circumstances and others labeling her as "crazy." At age 87 she continues to write and positively affect millions worldwide.Jordan is thrilled to be part of the thriving performing and literary communities in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia region) and will continue to fulfill her life-long passion to help others, now through entertaining and writing.
