My passion lies in helping people fulfill their lifestyle choices through building solutions.Part of this concept often uses the "green" word, and has now grown into a concept that not only helps in saving the planet and protecting the Natural Environment... it actually saves lives! By finding ways to improve INDOOR environments, through better lighting, outdoor connectivity, reducing toxins and improving the access to better and safer food and water, we CAN implement sustainability into our everyday lives, and isn't this a part of everyone's goals? But, how DO we implement them and still conserve our natural resources, protect the health of people, and still make it profitable?Since earning my LEED AP credential (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) in 2009, with an emphasis on Building Design & Construction, I have been able to substantiate the benefits of green by assisting in the certification process in several public buildings in Southern California, and oversee the first residential project in San Bernardino County to be registered with the USGBC, which is eligible for LEED Platinum rating.My 40+ years of Architectural Drafting & Design and Civil Engineering, as well as several Construction Management projects in Custom Homes, Residential Remodeling, and Commercial Renovations has offered me the experience to know what goes into building smarter indoor living spaces and work environments. It's an exciting time to be a part of this building technology transformation and witness, firsthand, the evolution into new building sciences, and actually help drive the process.My years of experience in AutoCAD, and knowledge of building systems, has morphed into Project Management roles, where I have directed the production of large scale design-build commercial projects, coordinating teams of engineers, designers and consultants. This, along with my technical expertise, attention to detail and ability to solve problems, I now find myself in the field of construction management and representing owners during the building construction phases; not just design development, which I love. I find this all very rewarding.I'm a Solutionists (I solve problems).
