I process electrophysiological data from LIBR’s concurrent EEG/fMRI dataset from the T1000 (Victor et al., 2018), and I am consultant on EEG issues on the LIBR campus.

I worked with Dr. Evan White, the Neu-AIRR lab, and the EEG CORE team this summer to further my research skillset in cognitive neuroscience such as experimental design, statistical analysis, and scientific communication that culminated into a poster presentation titled, "Neurocognitive correlates of inhibitory control within a stop signal task: an ERP study exploring the impact of comorbidity, biological sex, and medication in major depression" on July 25, 2024 for the 3rd annual LIBR Research Day. Additionally, I began training for my permanent position in Fall 2024 by continuing to develop my EEG and simultaneous EEG/fMRI processing skills (R, MATLAB, Brain Vision Analysis).

Cognition of Depression and Anxiety (CODA) Lab mentored by Dr. Matt Judah (July 2021 - May 2024)I managed the collection of electrophysiological data using the ActiveTwo (BioSemi) system and eye tracking data using the EyeLink system. My main role was to contribute to the research process by training undergraduate research assistants in these methods and mentoring their research, personal, and graduate school interests.Arkansas’s Stress, Cognition, and Affective Neuroscience (A SCAN) Lab mentored by Dr. Grant Shields (Jan. 2023 - May 2024)I processed MRI and fMRI data that has been collected off-site through segmentation of neuroanatomy using ITK-SNAP, MRIcroGL, and 3D Slicer, and I ran participants in studies involving stress induction, cognitive tasks, and monetary reward.Developmental Cognitive Affective Psychophysiology (DCAP) Lab mentored by Dr. Connie Lamm (Sept. 2019 - July 2021)I assisted in the collection electrophysiological data using the Geodesic system under Dr. Connie Lamm. I "capped" participants and administered informed consent/debriefing, self-report measures, and other computer-based, cognitive tasks (e.g. AX-CPT, Go/Nogo, Hybrid Flanker/Navon Letter) with study participants.

My role was a synthesis of my past roles working in the SI program at the University of Arkansas: (1) holding sessions/teaching for general chemistry and organic chemistry(2) facilitating student-to-student collaboration (3) mentoring other SI Leaders and Mentors(4) providing feedback to Leaders/Mentors on their sessions

I was a counselor and eventual senior counselor at Camp Aldersgate, a summer residential camp dedicated to serving children and youth with disabilities in a camp environment. My responsibility was to care for a group of 8 to 10 campers while managing my volunteer staff and collaborating with my co-counselors to ensure our campers were getting the best care and, of course, having the most fun.
