My job is to support our entire customer base by testing and troubleshooting many of the applications they use for their banking needs. Mobile banking, online banking, telephone banking are just a few. I also have the opportunity to assist my colleagues with the systems they use for our Customer Care business line. A crucial part of my position is to test and help implement new systems both internally and customer facing. Recent projects I have been a part of were Web Chat and Person to Person transfers. Every day I have an opportunity to help our customers directly and indirectly through my work.

I was responsible for the day to day operations running the Stevens Point branch. I treated this position with the business owner’s philosophy. Every dollar spent, every dollar borrowed, every dollar collected was treated as I took it from my own pocket. Being a sound decision maker, strong underwriter, and having solid common sense all played key roles in my 9 years of success with Springleaf (formerly American General Finance).• Oversee and direct operations to accomplish the company goals of profitability, branch growth, staff development, and business development.•Conduct extensive budget analysis (P&L reports, expense reports, labor reports) to determine various courses of action to stimulate business in different product lines to maximize growth and profitability.•Develop forecasting and projection reports to align daily business unit activities with goals for the short and long term. Adjust activities periodically to coincide with intermittent progress. •Coordinating and preparing branch sales/revenue data in preparation for reporting to headquarters. •Classification of expenses, revenues, losses, etc. into proper general ledger accounts for accounting. •Organization of expenses/W9 reports for IRS reporting. •Being familiar with federal and state regulations and taking proper courses of action on delinquent accounts in order to limit company losses.• Have Credit, Life, and Disability Insurance Licenses and NMLS (Mortgage Loan Originator License)

In this position I played a key part in supporting all of AmEx's customer base in all their travel emergency needs. From the unexpected lost/stolen card, to the medical evacuation from a remote island in the Bahamas’ I was a part of it. This job taught me how to think on my feet (many times in the middle of the night here in the states), put myself in a customer's shoes and get things done. Some of the many situations I assisted in include wiring funds to many notable individuals to traveling to Bermuda to assist an elderly woman who broke her hip on a cruise. I am never short of stories when speaking about this job. Just ask me some time!
