As product owner for u-prevent.com I strive to achieve maximum results with limited resources. By providing a motivated team with clear direction we are building a leading E-health application.

I have been one of the initiators and driving forces behind the implementation of the Scrum development framework in our team. This has resulted in: Better software, happier team members and higher customer satisfaction. Currently I am working on the next steps towards a more dev-ops oriented environment.

As project manager I have headed the construction of the UMC Utrecht patient portal. I ensured the project remained within scope and delegated responsibilities to their rightful owners, helping us create the country’s leading patient portal.

As a consultant I have supported numerous IT solutions throughout the hospital. With my extensive knowledge and experience I have contributed to the success of projects ranging from mobile app development to information management and online services.In the lead up to a recent re-organization I identified the need for a clear team mission and vision, and subsequently was responsible for its development. The resulting statements helped us maintain our focus and identity through this organizational change and provided a clearer understanding of our teams position and future prospects.

In my roles as interaction designer and requirements engineer I worked closely together with clients on design documents for new web applications. I also represented these clients during the realization of these applications, making design choices and answering any questions the development team might have.I assisted the company owner/director to shape the role of requirements engineer, which was new for the company, and further assisted with growth and professionalization of the company.

As a consultant I supported my clients throughout the Netherlands in the use of our software solution for care, by providing user support and delivering business analytics reports enabling optimal use of our software and insight into the operational performance of their organizations.
