Kirk Baker is managing partner of Captra Capital, LLC. Baker has more than 30 years of experience in structuring, negotiating and implementing complex transactions. He was formerly president and chief executive officer of InfraREIT Capital Partners, LLC, and chairman and chief executive officer of the Electric Infrastructure Alliance of America (EIAA). Baker led the effort to raise capital commitments resulting in the formation of EIAA. He also led the effort to obtain two separate private letter rulings from the Internal Revenue Service confirming that electric and gas transmission and delivery systems constitute real property. He was formerly chief legal officer of Hunt Consolidated, Inc. Baker earned a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. He also received a juris doctorate with high honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a chancellor and member of the Texas Law Review. Baker is a member of the Texas, California and New York bar associations.
