Job Title: Head of Real Estate Management for Brookfield Properties North America Logistics PortfolioLeadership:Oversee a large and geographically dispersed North American logistics portfolio encompassing 64 million square feet across 258 operating properties and development of an additional 28.7 million square feet across 61 projects.Foster a positive and results-oriented team environment that encourages initiative, innovation, and dedication.Portfolio Management:Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize property performance, occupancy rates, and tenant retention.Manage all aspects of the real estate lifecycle, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and property management.Lead negotiations for dispositions and lease agreements, ensuring favorable terms for Brookfield Properties.Financial Expertise:Conduct thorough financial analysis, due diligence, and underwriting to assess investments and development projects.Utilize proficiency in Argus and other financial software to create proformas, forecasts, and manage budgets effectively.Operational Excellence:Ensure timely and efficient project completion within budget constraints.Implement best practices for Asset Management to maximize operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction.Oversee property maintenance and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.Communication & Collaboration:Maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers, investors, and other stakeholders.Provide clear and concise communication, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of the organization.Specialties:Leverage expertise in development, leasing, value creation, real estate closings, investments, marketing, and all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for effective portfolio management.Utilize extensive knowledge of the logistics and industrial real estate sectors for strategic decision-making.
