A native Hawaiian and proud son of Kona, Hawaiʻi Island, my passion is to serve my community - utilizing the various talents, skills, and abilities I have developed; and, to contribute to the lifting up of our lāhui.Raised in the small South Kona communities of Keālia and Hoʻokena, my parents exemplified what it meant to work hard; encouraged us to dream big and to never give up; and, instilled in us a sense of kūleana (responsibility, duty) to oneself, to God, to ʻohana (family), to community, and, to lāhui (nation).Motivated by my passion and grounded in the values and sense of kūleana embedded in me, I have worked (as a career, and through volunteer community service) in the non-profit, political, and religious setting from a very early age. This includes my continuing tenure as the President of the Kealamākia Foundation, which I co-founded in 2014 to serve public and charter schools in our local community; and, as a Minister in the field to serve those in need of spiritual and religious support.I am very happy with where I am; and, am not presently seeking a career (or, job) change. Just looking to expand my network and connection with other professionals in various fields, but specifically within the industry of which I am part.
