I worked with and led a crazy smart crew of folks on financial services and loyalty products like REDcard, Target GiftCards, open loop prepaid gift and general purpose reloadable (GPR) cards in both their physical and digital forms -- including Target's work on the MCX (Merchant Customer Exchange) mobile wallet platform and the REDcard transition to EMV. We handled innovation, product development, product management, product marketing and operational delivery of all of these things, meaning we were really busy.

While the name Apriva may not be familiar to you, its mobile payment technology is the "Intel Inside" for numerous market leaders such as First Data and Bank of America. My work at Apriva ranged from helping the company launch its first mobile payment solution on the original Blackberry handheld in 2000 to delivering and managing the AprivaPay mobile payment platform for smartphones. Apriva is a great group of folks who do impressive work.Also served as Vice President and General Manager Mobile Payments and Vice President Business Development during my time at Apriva.

My primary role centered on technical development and management of the proprietary online platform we used for most of our existence. That being said, we all jumped in where needed and developed a breadth of sales, marketing, legal and finance chops. Leadbot was acquired by Norvax Inc., a leading provider of sales automation and web marketing technology for the insurance industry.
