I am currently serving as a certified technical instructor, pre-sales consultant and as a post-sales advisor. I approach my work with a focus on the client and their experience. I am responsible for helping customers take technical concepts and apply them for practical business results. During my career, I have worked with all organizational levels from CIO/CFO to IT Operations staff. I am comfortable communicating with all of these stakeholders to deliver a consistent strategy and vision.I began my professional life at an IBM internship assisting with university pre-sales, sales and implementations of early P.C. solutions. That experience made it clear that my understanding of technology and ability to communicate in clear, simple terms were strong assets. This was also my introduction to the dynamics of a customer / channel partner / supplier relationship.Post college, I built my experience with three different start-up businesses. I was part of an independent software company, a Midwest regional VAR, and a founder in an I.T. services company that helped SMB clients make use of early SaaS and PaaS offerings.Exiting the start-up arena, I focused on virtualization technologies. Initially this was working with clients to assess bare-metal workloads, planning and implementing virtualization rollouts. This evolved to working with multiple infrastructure technologies, including public clouds.
