I helped storyboard, then produced the audio by finding crew, equipment, and even operated the boom or mixed sound. I also got permits to film, acted as a bartender in the film, assisted in editing, and did general production work.

I managed the weekend and evening shifts of the Transcription Department at the television show Hard Copy at Paramount Studios. Through creative use of incentives, my shifts wound up holding the record for fastest turn-over of tapes, as well as lowest turn-over of employees. Our department wound up being "rented out" to other TV shows, including Sightings, Entertainment Tonight and the Leeza Gibbons show. Duties included hiring and firing, scheduling shifts, and managing the tape priorities, as well as answering phones and other minor production duties.
