Radio Wegahta Tigrai, RWT, is established to provide radio services to the people of Tigrai, particularly to our rural communities where there is no other source of credible, timely, and relevant information during this difficult emergency and while Tigrai is under invasion. It is aimed to provide hope and inspiration in recognition of the resilience, independence, and indefatigable spirit of the people of Tigrai. RWT is broadcast via shortwave radio @15340 kHz, 19 Meter band. The radio program will include news and analysis, information, and entertainment. Radio Wegahta Tigrai is a public radio aimed at establishing an institution to serve the long-term interest of the people of Tigrai through independent and public-owned broadcasting services.
