I am a very skilled and qualified conductor, singer, and educator. When teaching, I pride myself on implementing aspects of reading, writing, and class discussion into choral rehearsals for deep, meaningful learning and community building. My students take pride in their work and call their experiences with choir life changing. I give 100% to every lesson plan and every rehearsal, taking time to reflect and set new goals, always striving for excellence. Bio:Whitney holds a master's in music education from University of Central Missouri as well as a bachelor's in music education from Oklahoma City University. Whitney teaches 5th and 6th grade music for Glenpool Public Schools and serves as Artistic Director for The Council Oak Mens Chorale in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also enjoys singing as a staff singer/ section leader at St John's Episcopal church and the Oklahoma Bach Choir in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also maintains a small private music studio called Moeller Music Greater Tulsa, where she teaches private lessons on voice, piano, and french horn from her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She has experience directing choirs and teaching music to students of all ages and ability levels for University of Tulsa, Union Public Schools, Broken Arrow Public Schools, and Mannford Public Schools.
