I am a Certifier - Fire Safety (formerly C10) and Director of BECODE and PBC. I have worked with some of the largest names in construction such as AECOM, Lendlease and John Holland on a huge range of projects – 100m2 fit outs to the 60,000m2 Sydney International Convention Centre Precinct across a range of building and infrastructure projects.After over a decade of working in corporate Engineering firms, I started my own specialised compliance engineering consultancy, PBC, from my dining room table in 2015. Four years (and three offices) later, PBC has worked on over 200 projects, delivered over 600 bespoke Performance Solutions.However, as both a business owner and lead engineer, I was fed up with the ‘bottleneck’ effect that compliance professionals (myself included) could have on a project. I could see the project team wasting time, resources and money, and being constantly confused and stressed by information changes, full schedules and deadlines. I knew there had to be a tool that would give the team the information, visibility and accountability they needed to make achieving compliance and ultimate safety a more efficient and collaborative process. And so, BECODE began.
