Currently leading an independent initiative to devise a management system needed for the UCI Arboretum's primary accession pressed plant sample herbarium database. Entails use of excel and Google Docs to mediate data entry for the digitalization of the UCI Herbarium (IRVC) collection for submission to the Consortium of California Herbaria for public reference. The IRVC herbarium has approximately 30,000 vascular plant holdings, 329 macroalgal collections, and several thousand lichen specimens. Previous projects include initiation of a training curriculum for UCI Bio 197 and 199 research students to facilitate data entry and plant specimen curation. I engage in daily management and supervision of independent research and restoration undergraduate students, and lead weekly restoration efforts in the San Joaquin Marsh Natural Reserve. Employment has also led to becoming a Natural Reserve System administrator and docent for the UCI San Joaquin Marsh and UCI Ecological Preserve. This constitutes managing applications for research and public use of the reserve, as well as leading academic tours for UCI freshman seminar classes and upper division biology classes at UCI.

An Emergency Department Medical Scribe assists Emergency Department Physicians expedite patient flow and ensure thorough medical evaluation and disposition documentation. Under the mentorship of a medical doctor, my work included hands-on collaboration with diverse emergency department personnel in providing personalized patient care in an emergency setting, and required frequent navigation and documentation of emergency medical records, as well as independent responsibilities verifying and conferring to physicians important laboratory and radiology diagnostic results.
