I see my personal development as a continuous journey of discovery. Not a direct highway from origin (education) to destination (the ideal job). No, more like a recreational bike ride from junction to junction. During the journey, marveling and enjoying all the beautiful experiences, learning moments and encounters. And at each junction, the consideration again: which way should I go now? Always on the way to the next adventure with new energy, focus and perseverance.Of course, this journey is not completely on spec. There are a few common threads that run through everything. For example, my passion for mobility, and public transport in particular. The will to contribute to a better world and to stand up for people who are 1-0 behind. But also to contribute to strategy, entrepreneurship and public administration and at the same time having both feet on the ground to get things done in practice. And above all, lots of variety!In concrete terms, after high school I started studying logistics. Through MBO and HBO I obtained my Masters degree in London. That's when I shifted my focus to public transportation. Since graduating, I have worked in many different places, in many different roles, within this sector. In doing so, I made the move from logistics and network design, via marketing to products, tariffs and revenues. I still enjoy doing this with great pleasure. Outside of work, I have been politically involved for a long time, both locally and nationally. My focus is on mobility and spatial planning on the one hand, and on the acceptance of LHBTIQ+ people within the party on the other. I do both based on my Christian beliefs. Based on this belief, I will also embark on a completely new adventure in the near future, a part-time Theology study. My dream is to work in the church as a pastor and/or minister in the future. This will be in addition to my work in public transport, because there is still plenty to discover!

My job is to analyse trends and development of tickets sales, travel patterns and cash flows from a commercial perspective. I also develop new fares and propositions, bot for short term as longer term. In 2018 and 2019 I were involved in succesfull the implementation of two new concessions for EBS within the Rotterdam & The Hague Metropolitan Area.EBS is an ambitious and quickly developing, Dutch public transport operator. EBS is putting the customer, and the customer journey, in the middle, offering fast and easy door-to-door traveling, at the greenest most sustainable way. EBS is part of the Egged Group, based in Israël.EBS started operating in the Netherlands in the Waterland concession, north of Amsterdam, in December 2011. Nowadays the company is operating a number of concessions in the Amsterdam and the Rotterdam The Hague Metropolitan area's. And also a concession in the provinces Gelderland, Overijssel and Flevoland. Within these concessions EBS operates a number of BRT-lines, on demand routes, school lines and regular bus lines. To make this possible the company can build on professional staff driving our sustainable vehicles. -

Within this region, Connexxion bus services are operating as part of a number of public transport concessions: Amstelland-Meerlanden, Zaanstreek and Almere City BRT and Region.The new Amsterdam-Meerlanden contract starts at 10 december 2017. This includes the former Zuidtangent BRT, R-net express services, Schiphol Airport BRT, Amsterdam Airport Express and the largest Zero Emission fleet in Europe. I were responsible for implementing improved and intuitive travel information and wayfinding, using colours, symbols and 3D-maps. Together with other operators I worked on integrated tickets for all public transport (train, metro, tram and bus) in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. With improved information and integrated tickets, public transport in the Amsterdam Region became easier and more intuitive, and hence more accessible, especially for non-frequent users and international visitors.Connexxion is one of the largest regional operators for public transport in the Netherlands operating over 1,800 buses, 4 regional railroads and 2 ships. In 2015 customers traveled over 1,5 billion kilometer with Connexxion and affiliated companies in the Netherlands. Connexxion is part of the worldwide Transdev organization.
