About Hunter Mcnichols

I’m a programmer and computer addict whose passion is to build futuristic technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible. I have written production code in many languages including Java, Python, Typescript, JavaScript and Objective-C. I have also brought multiple web projects to from ideation to reality as a freelance full-stack web developer. I'm a huge advocate for programming education and love to share my passions with others.This passion has led me to become a part-time lecturer at the City College of New York (CCNY) where I taught an elective course on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Today I’m pursuing a career in academia and research through pursuing a PhD in computer science. My broad research interests are in leveraging machine learning for improving outcomes in education.
