As the Chief Executive Officer at Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario (RMHC SWO), I lead a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who provide a home away from home for families of seriously ill children who are receiving medical treatment in London, Ontario. With over 15 years of experience in the social impact sector, I have a proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans, cultivating and stewarding donor relationships, engaging and mobilizing communities, and advocating for policy change.My passion for improving the social and health outcomes for young people and their families stems from my academic background and professional involvement in the fields of education, mentoring, and philanthropy. I hold a Master of Education degree in Educational Policy Studies and Organizational Leadership from Western University, where I learned how to apply critical and analytical thinking, conflict resolution, and workshop facilitation skills to address complex and systemic issues. I also served as the National President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada and the Founding Partner and Co-Chair of the Canadian Mentoring Partnership (Mentor Canada), where I collaborated with diverse stakeholders and partners to create and scale innovative and evidence-based programs and services that support the development and well-being of children and youth across Canada.
