In my position as a Public Safety Officer, I investigate complaints or situations involving potential code violations and notify appropriate Police personnel. Additionally, I explain laws and regulations to citizens as requested as well as provide information to children on the safe practices for a pedestrian and escort children across crosswalks to provide visible orientation for motorists. Another duty of mine is to maintain departmental equipment including regularly inspecting vehicles and related equipment and recommending any necessary servicing.

In my position at the School of Accountancy, I welcome and direct faculty, staff, and guests that come into the suite as well as assist faculty with ad hoc tasks. I am also in charge of maintaining and organizing the break room and work room to make sure supplies are fully stocked. Other tasks I execute in this position consist of distributing mail and other important information such as deliveries and notifications to faculty and managing closing tasks and conducting proper closing procedures of the suite.

While working at Dubose Bookkeeping & Tax Services, I E-filed important tax documents including W-2’s, W-2G’s, 1099-R’s, 1099-IRA’s, 1099-Misc’s, 1099-NEC’s,1099-SSA’s, Corporate Extensions, Economic Impact Payments, and Advanced Child Tax Credits using WinTax TaxWare software. I also executed tasks consisting of filing over 900 clients tax returns, pulling files from previous years, operating a shredding machine, and politely answering client’s phone calls regarding questions and appointments as well as prepared payroll checks to be delivered to both local and chain restaurants and businesses.
