Goal is to promote and identify energy projects creating opportunities for energy sustainable development and moderated energy panels on Hydrogen of available grant funding. Assists with energy delivery forecasting and smart grid strategies to ensure sustainable energy practices.**Facilitation of Energy Development in the Tobacco Region**: Organized energy opportunities in the Tobacco Region, including federal grants, private sources, site identification, and energy programs. Collaborates with utilities at both macro and micro levels to facilitate energy discussion on grid resiliency projects across various industries.**Review and Administration of Energy Applications**: Provide critical review and recommendations of energy applications for Tobacco leadership and commissioners, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of grant resources.

The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) is ICDLA's primary exchange program. Launched in 1940, IVLP is one of the U.S. Department of State's most effective public diplomacy activities. The program strengthens U.S. engagement with countries around the world and cultivates lasting relationships by connecting current and emerging foreign leaders with their U.S. counterparts.Participants are nominated and selected annually by the staff at U.S. embassies around the world. Nearly 5,000 exchange participants come to the U.S. on the IVLP each year. Alumni of the program include more than 335 current or former Chiefs of State or Heads of Government. IVCLA hosts on average 700 IVLP participants each year.+ Created the first International Affairs Luncheon Program that included two members from congress serving on the House International Relations Committee. Due to its success the program became an annual event for future foreign leaders. + Hosted events and arranged connections for International Visitor Leadership Program participants with government agencies for public affairs round tables and policy discussions.+ Organized a program with government leaders for a group of prominent Afghan women who were the first to travel to the U.S. following the fall of the Taliban in 2001+ Created an advocacy lobbying program focused on building relations between elected officials and international dignitaries + Invited to speak at the Department of State’s National Meeting in Washington D.C. to discuss how to create an advocacy program with elected officials, and establish a diverse grassroots mobilization to strengthen international relations with congressional and local elected officials. + Facilitated the opportunity for a delegation of government officials from Russia, who were participants in the first Open World Program, to meet presidential candidate George W.
