As Executive Director of Urban Wings & Aerospace Leadership Club, I am spearheading a dynamic transformation aimed at positioning the organization for long-term success. Urban Wings is a non-profit dedicated to inspiring middle and high school students through aviation, STEM education, and leadership development, using the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen as a cornerstone for teaching perseverance and excellence.In this role, I am focusing on: - Rebranding and Organizational Renewal: Crafting a forward-looking brand narrative that highlights Urban Wings’ unique value. - Expanding Partnerships: Building relationships with aviation organizations, educational institutions, and industry leaders to enrich our program offerings and provide new opportunities for our cadets. - Programmatic Innovation: Elevating our curriculum with cutting-edge aviation technology, and business education that enhance the hands-on learning experience for all members. - Sustainable Leadership: Developing strategic initiatives that ensure the organization’s continued growth and impact well into the future.

In the summer of 2022, I served as an Aviation Instructor and Executive Board Member of Urban Wings, partnering with Portland Public Schools (PPS) to teach aviation fundamentals within the PIL Summer Math Program. This initiative combined applied mathematics with hands-on aviation learning, designed to engage middle and high school students in STEM education through real-world aviation scenarios.
