Bill Mulkey is both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS) in the State of South Carolina. He is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a credential awarded by the National Board for Certified Counselors (Board-Certified). Bill graduated with Distinguished Honors from Webster University, with a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling, With Emphasis in Professional Mental Health Counseling. He also has extensive education, training, and experience in the field of children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances, with a focus in trauma, anxiety, and juveniles with maladaptive sexual behaviors. He also provides services to adults, couples, and families experiencing difficulties in their personal lives they would like to address. Bill has worked in the mental health field for over twenty years in South Carolina.Known for a relaxed, and comfortable approach to counseling. Bill is an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means that he utilizes a variety of orientations and therapies, according to the client's individual needs. His approach involves genuine caring, acceptance, and non-judgment. Bill has worked as a psychotherapist, and the past decade has been dedicated to fulfilling the responsibilities of an Administrator with several organizations. He has enjoyed the opportunity to work with young professionals as they develop their skills and grow as individuals and clinical professionals.
