Comprehensive risk management & business intelligence responsibility for this community focused Credit Union across SW Ontario. Reporting to the SVP Finance & CFO and the audit committee, my responsibilities include our ERM program, business support & analysis team oversight, business intelligence program oversight, insurance programs, AML compliance, regulatory compliance, and internal audit functions.Oversight of the Better Practices Committee & IT Steering Committee with a demonstrated ability to execute on a mandate to substantially improve the efficiency, effectiveness and Member centric focus of our operations and technology.

Toronto, London & Ottawa

Oversight of all Canadian Risk operations for Enterprise, Alamo & National Rent a Car. This included 22 direct reporting employees in the National damage subrogation center, 1 direct reporting employee with oversight of the Canadian automobile liability program and Corporate support for 8 field based Risk Managers & 8 field based Vehicle Repair Managers across Canada.With direct financial responsibility for an $88M risk portfolio, I reported directly to the AVP Risk Management for Global Operations in this privately held multi-billion dollar company.Having generated long term success in the Risk Management operations for the Ottawa & London regional operations, I was rewarded with the opportunity to oversee the Canadian Risk Management operations. My time with Enterprise was a terrific opportunity in a fast paced, entrepreneurial company that has many forged long lasting business and personal friendships.
