BibleNet is an Internet portal that provides the tools and support for learning and studying the Bible. I am the developer and caretaker of this site.

CareSync is both an application and a services entity. As an application, CareSync allows families to collect, organize, and selectively share healthcare information between family members. My role in the development of this application focused on the security and privacy issues specifically related to the transmitting, storing, and sharing of healthcare data between various parties.Collecting healthcare data that may span several years across multiple providers can be a burdensome task. As such, CareSync offers a healthcare assistance service that coordinates with providers and enters data into the CareSync application on behalf of our customers. My role in this effort was to define and manage the processes behind these services, establish and measure the quality metrics, and track overall customer satisfaction.

Continuum Labs, Inc. is an application development company for the Lifedash platform. My role at CLI was to develop identity-focused applications for social and cloud-based networks. This included Dashes which is a privacy-based social sharing application and CareSync which is a privacy-based application for managing and sharing family health records.

In this role, I️ was focused on developing all aspects of GCA's corporate strategy, direction and policymaking. This included identifying and building strategic alliances, business development, business planning, product management and development. Additional (and equally as important) tasks included building and maintaining relationships with GCA's strategic customers and partners. Areas of focus: identity, cloud, virtualization, and new delivery models.

In this role, I was in charge of building a newly formed Identity Management practice at GCA. This included management of strategic vendor relationships, development of the methodologies and practices for implementing identity management projects, implementation of managed services around identity management, hiring of consulting and account management staff, and management of the practice's sales pipeline. The Identity Management practice has grown consistently year over year and we have been able to establish ourselves as one of the premier implementation firms in North America. I have been fortunate to work with some extremely talented consultants that can solve any problem, vendors that offer unique solutions to identity-related challenges, and customers that I have grown very close to over the years.

As the Vice President of Education and Business Services, I was responsible for developing GCA's Learning Services division. In this role, I was successful in growing GCA's training business from one classroom in one city to 25 classrooms across 7 different cities. We continued to offer foundational classes such as Solaris and Java, but we immediately differentiated ourselves by focusing in the middleware space. While other companies were teaching from the book, GCA was able to take our experience in implementing projects for our customers and bring that experience into the classroom.During this time, GCA was recognized as Sun Microsystems' North American Partner of the Year for 2004 - 2006 and our instructors were consistently in the top 5% of all Sun instructors. I credit this success to our ability to blend training and consulting in the same engagement - our instructors take a consultative approach to learning. Our success was recognized by Sun as we were awarded the "New Production Introduction" and "Most Innovative Solution" honors. More importantly it was recognized by our students as they continued to return to GCA classrooms time and time again.Our ability to bring "real-world" situations into the classroom opened additional doors as well and we were asked to develop Sun's courseware based on this experience. This led to development of over 20 courses focused on Sun's middleware products (identity, portal, communications, and SOA) and delivered across several mediums.

I performed implementations of identity and access management solutions and developed identity management courseware.

Originally hired to manage a 1300 station Intranet project for a local community, the position was propelled into other project management avenues as well. Responsibilities immediately included: contract negotiation between various parties (Time Warner, Publix Supermarkets, Tecom, Carlysle Investment Group), proposal writing for various projects (television stations, Fortune 500 engineering firms, interactive media companies), network analysis, and systems design. In addition, initiative was taken to formulate internal and external processes to bring about a common understanding and roadmap for other employees to follow.

Responsible for scheduling, cost control, and implementation of multiple concurrent software and hardware development projects, and developed the process for training all future AT&T Paradyne project managers. Coordinated upper level management, engineering personnel, and external customers to achieve project resolution with an optimal level of customer satisfaction. Direct management of the “3800 Plus Cost Reduction Project” resulted in corporate savings in excess of $14,000,000 over a three year period without impacting quality.

Spearheaded various software related projects ranging from extension of the IBM channel, facsimile programming for the Accucom modem product line, and Operating System development. Developed hardware/firmware maintenance processes critical to earning ISO9000 certification. Created generic device drivers and supporting documentation for IBM ESCON based products establishing the template for all future development in this area. Traveled internationally to customer sites performing support, new product introduction, and on-site development.
