I enjoy the challenge of building and scaling: teams, organizations, and industrial processes.Most recently I spent 10 years developing and scaling a novel silicon-carbon battery material at Sila, taking the process from lab to commercial volumes for the automotive market. To do this our team re-designed the process flow multiple times to drastically lower cost and reduce the number of chemical processing steps by over 50%. Along the way we transitioned the process engineering team from scrappy, lab-focused development to world-class industrial plant design, hiring standout colleagues from the solar, semiconductor, EV, petrochemical and refining industries.

I provided technical coordination for a $500m expansion project at the primary gas field, and troubleshot an underperforming dehydration system, leading to a 50 MMSCFD (6%) increase in production. I also led the successful implementation of new corporate Management of Change (MOC) standards across all facilities. 28/28 rotational position. -
