I rendered ad-tracker data into single-view documents to illustrate ad penetration and impact for easy comprehension, for both ad sales reps and clients. A key feature of these documents was my advice for making the ads more effective and appealing, and more likely to garner clickthrough. Additional tasks included deploying digital media for myriad departments at the Sun. (This position was eliminated in 2016.)

KRMC is a half-billion-dollar-per-year institution, and the largest private employer in Mohave County. I brought its visual-media presentation up to that standard.Working in a largely self-supervised position initially dubbed "PR Assistant", I transformed my post into a clearinghouse for publication and advertising, bringing most of the media production in-house, and saving thousands of dollars per year in third-party vendor fees. I acted as my own art director and creative director, and made use of my full suite of skills, including graphic design, copywriting and editing, layout, photography, and coding.I spearheaded design initiatives on signature events, and created branding graphics both for those events and for multiple departments in the facility. I rebuilt and expanded the KRMC brochure suite, bringing it up to modern publication standards and adding dozens of new pieces to the library. I brought high-grade design cachet to printed collateral, including annual reports, advertisements, and billboards viewed by hundreds of thousands of people in Mohave County. I established ad campaigns for KRMC's healthcare subsidiaries, giving them a consistent visual and content brand message.I brought my coding skills to the fore by innovative deployment of the annual report to fully-online, interactive Web content, entirely eliminating print-production costs. I helped revamp and expand KRMCs social media presence, turning its Facebook page into a central location for community engagement with the hospital. I was a co-advisor on the redeployment of the facility's website.I provided peer coaching to PR department interns, and earned multiple healthcare-advertising awards.

I expanded and honed my skills in print-media production here, while creating ads and laying out pages for printing by DTP (direct-to-plate) process.

I taught online and classroom courses in Java, JavaScript, and graphic design and layout.

My coding skills were used heavily here in myriad tasks, and there was a pair of noteworthy projects.I created a custom interactive solution for Wausau Window and Wall Systems. They used it to build master sets of promo slides for their sales reps in the field.This required baking an entire multimedia presentation engine from scratch, because I designed the slides to be read from a central stack and only partially editable — limited to prospect names and corporate logos — thus eliminating the risk of accidentally-modified or damaged content often seen in conventional slide-based presentations. Corporate headquarters could add, delete, or modify any content they needed, then send out the updated slides via online deployment to keep their sales force up to date. This saved Wausau Window and Wall Systems a vast amount of expense, as they no longer had to rebuild damaged PowerPoint slides, at the last minute, whose media had been corrupted by a stray keystroke in the field.On another project, I worked with the Milwaukee Public Museum and Tamzen's graphics department to create and install fifteen interactive educational kiosks, supporting MPM's Natural History museum in a signature exhibit, "Exploring Life on Earth".I was the sole developer on this project, and directed the design and production of the software, the complete user-experience framework, and the choice of computer hardware MPM used to display the multimedia product. The EloE kiosks were viewed daily by hundreds of museum guests, for the duration of the exhibit's life.

The full suite of my multimedia programming skills was used here, creating interactive content packages for such industry leaders as Case/International Harvester and Greenheck Fans. These packages supplemented and, in some cases, replaced printed media.

I worked with the HOTS Program's creator to develop and deploy over a dozen playful and engaging software titles, supporting the HOTS Program's educational curriculum for grade- and middle-school students, used in thousands of classrooms nationwide. I was instrumental in converting HOTS software from Apple II deployment to the Macintosh platform, and I created new titles. I agitated for and entirely directed cross-deployment to Windows. I implemented and managed the beta-test program for all HOTS software packages, saving thousands of dollars in update-disk copying and distribution costs.
