At Wok on Fire Company, we aim to map the flavour-uniqueness and deliver you with the most spectacular and flavour-full dishes.The extreme slope inside a wok also facilitates a delicious flirtation widely known as “wok hei.” Wok hei refers to the flavor generated by wok-tossing food in a circular motion over a high-powered flame burner. This technique flings oil droplets above the edge of a wok to briefly touch the flames that wraps around the bowl before falling back to safety in the center of the pan. Translated into English, wok hei means “the breath of the wok.”After a year of research, I decided that it was time to start my company, Guyana's cuisine is a blend of South Asian, and Greek cuisine dishes that make liberal use of fiery locally grown chiles and of fresh vegetables.
