SummaryI am 60 years old and in my youth worked at TGI Fridays as a line cook, windowman, expeditor, bus boy, and barback. That was back in the day when everything was prepared in house from scratch. I was the cook of the household when I was rearing my family and later worked in the back of the house at the Boca Ale House. Cooking has always been a passion. The only thing I've enjoyed longer is boating. I was fortunate enough to be a 15year old boy, living in Southeastern Florida and had the use of a of small boats from friends and family, day and night. I'd never go home, but my mother never worried, because she had confidence in me. I have always had, or been around boats ever since. Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, the keys, and the Bahamas were my playground and have kept me young. I've been on the wheel from that 15 footer to a 48. A couple of my other hobbies include being a certified Dive Master, and also a private pilot. My work experience is mostly filled with high tech positions since I was recruited out of College by one of the most respected ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) manufacturers and retail companies at the time, Teknekron Infoswitch. For the next 30 years I only worked for 2 companies. Both were cutting edge leaders in high volume telecommunications, both in and outbound. Both positions involved hands on interaction with the hardware and software for ACDs, Dell Server Farms, Barracuda firewalls, Liebert UPS systems, backup diesel fueled generators capable of maintaining the entire data center during power outages, i.e. Hurricanes, managed a group of 8 Data Center Technicians 24/7. I was always on call, 24/7 as well. I am seeking employment for any of the positions listed above. Please don’t let the tech heavy history dissuade you from considering me. All it means is that I am fast learner, excellent at whatever I do, because I vehemently take pride in my work. I’m available for any position, any shift, any day. I’ve done warehouse work with the associated equipment. Recently I’ve been exposed to new tasks such as installing display shelving and stocking different retail centers, and also cleaned the exterior, and landing gear of a Boeing 747. I can do just about anything. Please consider me for employment in any position where you think I be of the most help. I love working with others, especially in a team environment.
