About Daphne Wolfe, M.Ed

Relator • Responsibility • Futuristic • Individualization • StrategicCurrently, I serve as the Assistant Director for Career Management at the University of Texas at Austin where I help students explore different careers and make sense of their experiences as they decide on a career pathway. In my current role, I oversee our Career Education Specialists and Longhorn Career Peer Mentor Program. I strive to make a stressful decision-making process into an enjoyable one by helping students explore different options, learn more about themselves and make informed decisions. I enjoy learning about a student's story and helps them envision where that story could go in the future. I started my time at Texas Career Engagement as a Career Counselor and transitioned into my current role in October of 2023. Previously, I served as a Career Advisor and Liaison for the College of Fine Arts and Communication at Texas State University. In my role, I helped students develop job search strategies and tools they need to meet their career goals. I also developed unique presentations on topics such as networking, LinkedIn, job shadowing, and internship/job search. Additionally, I created and curated content for social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) to promote career readiness for all Texas State students and alumni. I graduated from the University of Georgia, earning a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Administration in May 2020. Throughout my time in graduate school, I was able to gain experience in a variety of functional areas within the realm of Student Affairs and Higher Education, including Student Activities, Housing and Residence Life, and Athletics. Prior to graduate school, I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University. There I found my passion for Student Affairs and served in as a Higher Education and Student Affairs Intern at Texas A&M University's Career Center.
