Hello! My name is Elizabeth Wolfe, and I'm a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Creative Writing and Literature with a minor in Entrepreneurship. I love writing in all forms: essays, novels, poetry, blog posts, magazines—I call myself a poet and journalist for specificity, but I find joy in language at heart. During my time at U of M, I explored multiple avenues for my writing and design passions. For five semesters, I was a columnist for the Michigan Daily's Opinion section and The Statement, their weekly creative nonfiction section. As an active participant in the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts Creative Writing Program, I was awarded Third Place in the Hopwood 2022 Underclassman Poetry Award. At the end of my junior year, I was accepted to the upper division of the Honors College to complete a Creative Writing Honors Thesis in poetry during my senior year. I was Co-Director of Layout for What The F Magazine, an intersectional feminist magazine on campus that produces a magazine each semester. I was in charge of designing spreads and overseeing the layout of the magazine, and also submitted several poems to our publication on the side.I applied my passions for writing, design, and student leadership in my position as an Admissions Assistant for the Residential College, a Michigan Learning Community through LSA. I worked with prospective students, families, and stakeholders within the university to promote the program and help students navigate the beginnings of their undergraduate education. From drafting marketing materials and content for the website and social media platforms to honing in my public speaking skills at university events, the RC gave me a footing in communications that I hope to apply in my future endeavors.Under the Publications and Projects sections, I've included links to my articles for the Michigan Daily, blog posts for the RC, past editions of What The F Magazine, and miscellaneous projects. You can also find my resume and portfolio website under the Featured section. Thank you so much for checking out my page!
