Nowadays, my work mainly concentrates around my interactive matrix language CMAT which is free software for nonprofit applications. Here (http://www.wcmat.com/cmat/cmat_intro.html) is a short summary about history and content of CMAT. This software is strong in nonlinear optimization, computationally expensive linear and nonlinear statistics, and in encryption. At this time I'm in the process of adding some algorithms for computationally hard problems, like the TSP. And I'm making Progress with CMAT interfacing to the Clp and Cbc software by John Forrest.After about 10 years, the old version of CMAT has expired in January 2014. An improved new version of CMAT has been built on the optimized Release edition of MS Visual Studio and is available on demand. Just send an email to Wolfgang.For some time now, I'm also doing Statistical Consulting mainly in Medicine and Behavioral and Social Sciences. I'm mainly involved in multiple comparison (many different contrasts, like Tukey, Dunnett etc., and p value adjustments, like Bonferroni, Holms, Hochberg, and even Westfall etc.) and structural equations (FACTOR, IRT and SEM). For my wife and her research group I can do that without charge, however, I may have to charge my work hours otherwise. I will work either with SAS or CMAT software.
