Some of the key projects under his leadership include: the development and implementation of a Private Banking business strategy for major Swiss Banks, the development and implementation of a Retail Banking business strategy and a new branch concept for a major Cantonal Bank, the management of several complex Transformation projects in Switzerland, Germany and the UK, the supervision of a portfolio of complex business transformation and IT projects for finance, HR , payments, trading, securities and front-office for Banks and Insurance companies in Switzerland and Europe, and the supervision of a Portfolio of M&A transactions.During Wolfgang’s leadership, the net revenue of PwC Switzerland’s Advisory service line rose from 90 million CHF (gross CHF 112 million) in FY 2011/12 to CHF 141 million (gross: CHF 187 million) in the 2015/2016 fiscal year. Wolfgang led major initiatives to make PwC Switzerland a one-stop source of consulting and execution expertise in the field of digital services, e.g. the merger with Booz & Company to form Strategy& in 2014, as well as the acquisition of iBROWS and the launch of the PwC’s Experience Center in 2016.
