I am a child of two worlds living in USA up and on for over 20 years. With a law degree from the university in Mainz, I worked most my professional life as advisor and manager on both sides of the Atlantic for over 30 years. I have offices in Germany and the USA. I love analyzing and solving problems for my clients in transatlantic business enterprises. I create and optimize business organizations to succeed on both sides of the Atlantic. My legal background helps to structure international financing and solve cross-border taxation issues. But even more important is the experience of how to bridge the cultural differences in multinational business organizations. Business success in the other country is often less dependent on technology and market environments than from a deep and practical understanding of the vastly different ways to do things in the old versus the new world.After a legal career of 10 years and working as a partner for an international US law firm, specialized in international M&A, Corporate Finance and Tax, I held over the years numerous top level management positions in companies in Germany and in the USA as “Geschäftsführer “, „Aufsichtsrat“, CEO, and Managing Direktor. I helped a good number of companies to establish and succeed with their new or already existing organization in the other country. Occasionally I accept new management positions for limited periods of time to provide the startup management for a new business organization in the other country or to help reorganize local subsidiaries.
