Amicus Groups offer both specialized services and skills building, as well as peer support to people leaving incarceration. Peer support groups serve people looking to connect with others who can understand the experience of leaving incarceration and can provide guidance and encouragement as they work together to build healthy, positive lifestyles. Specialized service groups recognize that not everyone’s experience is same within the criminal legal system and that people often have different needs based on their diverse experiences.

Event timeline creation and management * Vendor coordination including confirming arrival/setup times and services, greeting vendors, oversee setup and tear-down and distribute final payments and tips * Assist with errands the week of the wedding * Coordination of wedding rehearsal * Direct ceremonial processionals and ensure ceremony runs according to rehearsed plan * Transport items from rehearsal or ceremony to reception site including: decor items, photographs, guestbook, guest favors, toasting glasses, cake serving sets, ceremony programs, menu cards, place cards, table number, etc. * Oversee and assist with setup and décor for the ceremony and reception including menu cards, table numbers, gift table, etc. * Manage reception timeline: ensure proper flow of cocktail hour food and drinks, coordinate the grand entrance, assist with dinner service timeline, cue speeches, cue band or dj. * Assist guests and wedding party as needed * Pin on boutonnieres and corsages * Oversee photo sessions * Troubleshoot and act as behind-the-scenes manager * Ensure that all gifts and wedding party belongings are safely transported

Motivate and empower the community to strengthen discipleship through local serving and support of mission partners. Cultivate and maintain local, regional and global partnerships. Initiate, plan, and lead events throughout the year. Effectively recruit, train, and empower volunteers. Manage the Missions budget. Develop and implement the marketing strategy and brand management across all campuses.

Established the business’ need for system changes and analyzed the impact of those changes. Wrote functional specifications for changes in technical and layman terms, and performed functional testing. Worked across teams and agencies to ensure that objectives were met without scope creep.

Managed collections department for 14 government clients that included municipality debts totaling over $50 million. Audited and monitored 8 staff to ensure Fair Debt Collection Practice Act compliance and quality assurance. Conducted trainings for sales team, staff, and clients.

Answered city phone lines for 911, non-emergency, fire, and police. Dispatched police, fire, and ambulance for the City of Cottage Grove and other communities. Performed office duties that include date entry, report writing, and assisting police officers. Created a calm environment for high stress situations.

Assessed and enforced child support applications for appropriate agency actions. Gathered and verified the accuracy of case information to establish parentage or support; resolve case discrepancies and inconsistencies prior to enforcement or legal action. Identifed, defined, evaluated and effectively resolved case disputes, conflicts and complaints; negotiated payment plans; interpreted and explained court orders, statutes to parties. Ensured compliance with court orders by selecting and managing comprehensive and complex administrative and interstate remedies. Located and worked with both parents, employers and outside agencies.
