My duties for press at Titan Comics include: Managing consumer and trade press Manage licensor approvals and content creation with clients such as BBC Doctor Who, Showtime, ITV, plus videogame companies such as Ubisoft, Bandai-Namco, Sony, Microsoft, and Bethesda. Foster relationships with key press contacts and explore new opportunities Generate all written copy for external communications. This includes: writing press releases, sending and amending for internal approval, licensor /creator approval, and placing targeted exclusive PR coverage Secure advanced endorsement quotes for catalogue adverts Secure advanced reviews from key trade outlets Secure interviews with comics press, entertainment press and trade press Secure reviews with comics press, entertainment press and trade press Distribute secured press internally, and to licensors, creators on a regular basis Update a weekly report with all press activity Evaluate and report campaign success against agreed objectives Co-ordinate on-site and off-site PR activities during conventions, signings Update social networking, including Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr

At TPublications (an independent publisher of graphic novels), I am in charge of managing all publicity and marketing campaigns, with strong focus on event management. I have established relationships with following outlets (both in the UK and US), resulting in multiple reviews of our books and publicity around our events: The Londonist, Bleeding Cool, Broken Frontier, Time Out London, The Metro, Newsarama.com, ComicBooked.com, Forbidden Planet International Blog, Comic Bastards, Comic Book Resources, etc.I have organised our presence and advertising efforts at and attended major comic-cons (New York Comic-Con, C2E2, Boston Comic-Con, Emerald City Comic-Con, Toronto FanExpo, London Super Comic-Con, MCM Glasgow, MCM Dublin, MCM Belfast and more) as well as a bespoke pop-up stall at Old Street Underground Station in May 2014 and March 2015. I liaise with authors and artists daily, and have organised various writing and design workshops. Most recently in partnership with London Book & Screen Week, where I have organised a drawing session at Orbital Comics in London.The final part of my role is looking after our growing fanbase through digital channels including social media and email marketing. Our email list has reached 7.5K fans, and I regularly engage these customers by marketing new and exclusive content.
