This position provides leadership and management to the billing team, financial services operations, human resource processing, and technology. • Planned, organized, and directed, all practice operations and evaluated all systems, contracts, compliance, and finances. Responsible for an 18% financial growth of the practice by developing new revenue streams, business development strategies, marketing plans, and responsible for the supervision of 45 employees and 9 physicians. Project management includes EHR implementation, policy and procedure standardization, the streamlining operational workflows, and reimbursement negotiations. • Coordinated the management of daily operations of hospital outpatient departments, including 25 employees and providers. Responsible for leading and working with IS on several successful system projects such as: Access Improvement “KREWE”, Physician Referral Tracking, and the Leadership Portal.• Managed departmental budget exceeding $45,000,000 gross charges annually, and decreased the denial rate by 20% through the LEAN process. • Improved charge capture by 19% which led to an additional 400K in missed gross charges through the development of a Charge Reconciliation process in Chemotherapy. • Analyzed and presented monthly financial statements, produced break even and profit and loss statements to support capital budget requests and expansion opportunities. Opened, equipped and designed operations for Ochsner Baptist Cancer Center, New Orleans.
