Won Cho is a junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Human & Organizational Development. He currently leads an internationally servicing nonprofit organization operating in the Za'atari United Nations refugee camp. The nonprofit encompasses several initiatives, mainly focusing on educational platforming and pushing greater holistic health & well-being for refugees. Across all programs, Friendship Beyond Borders (FBB) services 300+ refugee children. Won also holds positions as the President of Vanderbilt UNICEF, prayer coordinator in the Asian American Christian Fellowship and coach at the Vanderbilt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club. He is very interested in studying international law- especially that pertaining to refugee rights and immigration. When he is not doing work, you’ll find him practicing his violin or reading up on theology and philosophy.

  As a Congressional Intern, I had the unique opportunity to immerse myself in the legislative process and contribute to the daily operations of a Congressional office. My main responsibilities included: Conducting in-depth research on various policy issues to support legislative staff and assist in the drafting of memos, reports, and cosponsor recommendations. Additionally, I attended to constituent services and aided in lobbyist meetings and legislative staff briefings.
