With over four years of experience in career services and education, I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and launch successful careers in emerging technologies. As a Student Outcomes Manager at Circuit Stream, I work with a diverse and talented team of instructors, mentors, and coaches to provide career support, guidance, and opportunities for students enrolled in our Gaming and Tech courses and programs. I leverage my skills in writing, workshop facilitation, and training to create engaging and effective career resources, events, and partnerships that connect students with employers and industry experts. I also hold a Cybersecurity Foundations certificate from LinkedIn, which enables me to understand and address the security challenges and risks in the tech sector. Prior to joining Circuit Stream, I was a Career Services Advisor at Lighthouse Labs, where I helped graduates of their web development and cybersecurity bootcamps find employment in the tech sector. I also have experience as a Program Lead for TechCareers Cyber Security, a project funded by the Government of Alberta to train and place underrepresented groups in cyber security roles. Through these roles, I have developed core competencies in career coaching, program management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. I am motivated by the mission of Circuit Stream to democratize tech education and empower students to create immersive and impactful solutions for various domains and industries. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and contribute to the growth and success of the tech community.
