The Wondercap Company is an Australian owned and operated business that was created by myself in 2001. Before creating the Wondercap Company, I operated a well-respected plumbing company on the Gold Coast, Australia since 1980. After many years of witnessing inadequate installation standards for floor and shower wastes which resulted in regular downtime and call backs, my vision came to life to remedy these unnecessary expenses by developing the Wondercap. The award-winning and patented product, features a protective cap, an adjustable base and puddle flange which together remove the chance of blockages caused from excess construction rubbish and materials entering the drainage system. The product is manufactured with a non-stain polypropylene injected with an anti-bacterial agent to prevent growth of surface bacteria and mould to eliminate bad odours. Most importantly, the Wondercap Company provides the only anti-bacterial floor and shower drain system on the market. The growing success of the Wondercap has earned my company awards and accolades, such as DesignBuild Australia’s Silver Award for Best Environmental and Best New Product, in addition to its most recent awards in BUILD’s Construction and Engineering Awards 2020. This popularity has enabled the my company to become an international success. You can now find the Wondercap’s products in many residential towers, business towers, and hospitals all throughout Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and the Emirates. The Wondercap Company entered the United States market in 2017 after recognizing that the Wondercap Kit helps eliminate the same problems faced by the Australian market. Although the two countries face the same problems, the Wondercap Company redesigned the patented and revolutionary product to meet the needs of the United States construction industry and the different methods of waterproofing. The Wondercap Shower Drain Kit is now sold in thirty-eight states throughout the US. The Wondercap continues to revolutionize the way the Australian and global construction industry deals with waterproofing, wet areas, and leak.
