As a Vice President for Institutional Development, I will be leading the Digitalization and Infrastructure initiatives of Addis Ababa University in it's journey as the first autonomous university in Ethiopia.

I have worked as a Lecturer at the School of Information Science. I have been actively engaged in E-learning project as a core team member. I also worked as an Assistant Dean to the Faculty of Informatics at Addis Ababa University for two years.

Worked as Board Director by setting strategic directions and oversight to lead Zemen Bank to its goals. I served as Chairman of the Information Technology Sub-Committee to define and steer the technological interventions as well as IT security and infrastructure. I was also member of the Audit Sub Committee to follow up and direct on how to tackle audit findings to lead the bank to compliant and seamless operations. As the member of the Budget and Strategy Sub Committee, I was able to take part in defining the strategic direction of the bank for the next five years.

I worked as product development and market research expert where our division work on helping local exporters penetrate international market by studying their potential and the available market for their products. we also provide different trainings that range from usage of ICT for trade to e-commerce. Doing market research of different countries was also the major responsibility I had during my stay at EEPA.
