Upon completed his high school study in 1988, he joined Asahi Techno Vision (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore as a fitter. He was selected as a model worker in 1990 and obtained Outstanding Service Award. Later, he was sent to Japan for job training and subsequently promoted to technician group leader in year 1991. He returned to Malaysia in 1996 and joined Hanwa AJ (M) Sdn Bhd (a local and Japanese joint venture company), as a Production Executive. His role was to assist Managing Director to overseeing the factory operations. In order to acquire more skills and knowledge about the production and operation management, he was sent to attend three months job training in Japan. In 1999, he was promoted to Production Manager. In 2002, he joined Leon Fuat Hardware Klang, a company in steel trading and specialised in providing steel cutting service and took up the position as Factory Operations Manager. He assisted the company to re-organize the factory layout to create an effective and efficient work environment. During these periods, he attended relevant job training to enhance his skills and knowledge in other areas. He later enrolled into a part time postgraduate MBA program in September 2002 and completed in May 2005. In 2006, he was promoted to Assistant General Manager, assisting the Executive Director in overseeing the factory operations, human resource and administration.In 2015, he attended a Professional Certification in Human Resources program and subsequently become a Professional Member (CAHRI) of Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). He is also a Chartered Member (Chartered MCIPD) of CIPD, UK.He took a career break in Nov 2015 to pursue his lifelong learning dream and enrolled into a Business Information System study program in New Zealand as he believes the business future will be very much depending on Information System, especially analyzing the big data to improve business performance. After completing his study, he joined his previous company.
