PowerHealth Solutions is an international healthcare IT solutions company, specialising in hospital and health organisation systems for costing, billing, reporting and integration.I played an integral on-site role on the project team for two full implementation cycles, including a statewide health service. My duties consisted of gathering requirements in order to develop functional specifications for integration, reporting, and configuration. During the design phase, I was engaged in detailed billing and workflow analysis and documentation in order our development team to produce scripts that would eventually streamline our customers' business processes. I was also responsible for assisting the client in conducting thorough systems integration testing, user acceptance testing, and providing end user support services both on-site and via issue tracking system.

St. George Private Hospital is considered one of the most modern, high technology private hospitals in Australasia, with over 200 beds and a full range of services.I managed timely and accurate billing of various hospital claims and communicated with patients and funds to ensure payments were made promptly and were compliant.In addition to billing, I was enlisted to revise the hospital-wide Revenue Cycle Manual, as well as, conducted analyses for various financial assignments as needed by executive management.

Triage Consulting Group reviews records and contracts to identify underpayments for hospitals and healthcare organizations.Led six separate financial Managed Care Payment Review projects to evaluate hospital revenue cycle, identify trends and pursue underpayments. Created targeted monthly project plans in order to estimate future project revenue, profitability, and staffing needs.Designed and presented performance reports to communicate project accomplishments and contract recommendations for Hospital CFOs, business office leads and internal staff on a quarterly basis.Interacted with the client daily and served as the primary on-site contact for staff, hospital CFOs.Trained and mentored 2-3 New Hires and Associates Consultants each project on technical skills, healthcare concepts, hospital specific issues, and delegated their tasks.
