I co-founded Axis Focal back in 2017, with the goal of capturing photos and memories that last a lifetime. Since then, we have grown to a full service wedding media company, offering photography, videography, photo booth rentals, and print services for weddings, engagements, and elopement events. My role now involves leading the creative team, photography, developing strong client relationships, project management, operations, and growth strategy.

Since 2010, I have worked on a large variety of freelance projects, including photography, videography, and graphic design. I have taken my self taught skills as well as what I've learned through work and academic experience to build and further my creative knowledge.

Working within a close-knit team of producers, writers, videographers, and art directors, my role involves developing and designing impactful creative for a wide range of clients, both locally and nationally. Creative deliverables involve post-production work that includes photography, videography, and motion graphics design.

My main focus was to support and lead the development of marketing strategies that drove business objectives, positively impacted employee engagement, and strengthened the Calgary Academy, Headwater Learning Foundation and Headwater Learning Solutions brands. Highlight of Key Responsibilities:• Development of marketing strategies by conducting marketing research and providing ongoing optimization of marketing programs and digital marketing efforts• Generate regular reports on relevant marketing data (analytics, ad performance, social media and sharing innovative ideas to drive marketing strategy• Content developing of photography, videography, and copywriting used for a variety of mediums including internal projects, print, digital, and social media• Social media management including content creation, building a content calendar across our many platforms, and connecting with engaged users on our social media channels. • Development of a digital marketing strategy and buyer persona to help inform marketing decisions

My role with Dean Pictures involves setting up photography equipment such as artificial lighting, stands, lenses, cameras, and photo booth set up. Along with this, I am responsible for helping with taking photos for certain ceremonies and receptions, and various shoots throughout the wedding day.

Worked directly with clients to find solutions to their technological needs. As a TELUS dealership, I had the opportunity to work with clients to find their mobile needs, as well as television and internet services for their homes or businesses.

Worked to uncover customer needs in regards to telecommunications, and help to suggest best options, or alternatives. As a keyholder, my responsibilities included dealing with cash on a nightly basis, as well as managing employee tasks.
