• Conceptualise and design complex graphics to communicate our identity and marketing vision across a range of mediums including: user interface elements, social media content, print media, videography and product design• Work as part of the creative team to form and expand on the creative direction of the company• Art direction, visual communication and branding• Help to develop creative marketing solutions alongside our marketing team• Mentor junior design staff• Maintain up to date with evolving design standards, trends and best practices in all applicable fields• Maintain expert knowledge of design capabilities in the latest design software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator• Assist in enhancing category vision and strategies by creating relevant and authentic content and experiences• Execute processes efficiently, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met on time and on budget• Develop and manage relationships with digital agency partners and vendors• Work with internal and external production teams to ensure quality, budgets and timelines are met• Anticipate and resolve creative challenges by using appropriate resources and/or solutions

Highlights/Achievements Set up an internal inventory central tracking system and trained technicians to log transactions of sputter targets between inventory warehouse and the pilot lines. Reduced end-of-life inventory exposures from 10% to less than 2.0% (of total capacity) in the last 2 quarters of FY2012. Revised the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for NPI media engineering team (Singapore operations), in order to align with new company practices and business goals (during the transition from HOYA to Western Digital). Achieved individual goal last quarter, by successfully reducing the cost-per-disk (CPD) of new product, from low volume manufacturing stage to matured product by 10%, and increased average pilot line sputter machine utilization to 85.0%.Roles and Responsibilities Work with multi functional teams to coordinate the propagation of multiple pilot lines for high volume manufacturing of new products, and executing process improvement projects. Submit algorithms (calculated from life cycle of raw materials) for procurement planning and manage material connectivity in high volume production of existing products. Conduct manufacturing readiness review (MRR) with department representatives before finalizing documentation of all manufacturing processes, media performance specifications, drawings, media stack designs, and, list of primary vendors, before releasing new product to pilot line.

Roles and Responsibilities Coordinate process flows and provide engineering support for special manufacturing orders during EEN, FEN and DPPM sample builds of 160Gb and 250Gb qualification programs. Occasionally called upon to provide engineering support on night shifts. Design experiments for process improvement projects. Presented (quarterly) technical presentations of individual engineering design projects related to improving current sputter processes for next generation products. Conduct monthly audit of physical target inventory.
