- Founded Crazylabel in 2005, a Hong Kong creative living brand. It is intended to be a platform where designers can express their craziest ideas and help them to turn ideas into commercial products.- Oversight product design and development (primarily rotocasted and injection-molded figures), production follow-up, costing, logistics, marketing and branding.- In collaboration with Russian artist Sergey Safonov to develop and publish a story-telling app “The Story of a Paper Moon” on Apple App Store written in Objective-C and Cocos2d open-source framework.- Working with designers and artists around the world like Bubi Au Yeung (HK), James Liu (USA), Metin Seven (Netherlands), Jonathon Edwards (UK) and many more. Released a series of award winning collectible figures like Treeson (Top 10 Designer Toys of 2006 by Format Magazine), House of Liu series, Seamour Sheep, Droplet and Inspector Cumulus.- Collaborate with other creative organizations like China Times Publishing (TW), Mimobot (US) and Poketo (US) for a series of lifestyle products like story book, USB memory stick, coffee mug and wallet.

- Product development follow-up from preliminary design to production start.- Formulate and establish cost model for product cost prediction and vendor cost benchmarking.- Standard cost rates maintenance.- Component and sub-assembly sourcing for Mattel worldwide manufacturing facilities.- Costing and manufacturing troubleshooting and provide technical support to buyers.- Review toy design and provide technical feedback to product development team at US office for cost saving initiative.- Price negotiation and liaison with vendors.- Led a team of China-based manufacturing support engineers for product debug and quality assurance.Projects that I’ve worked on:- Fisher-Price branded infant toy such as Rescue Heroes, Sparkling Sympathy Gyms, Great Adventure series playsets and action figures.- Barbie dolls and her accessories.

- Oversight product development stages from concept sketching (or work from scenes from LaserDisc) to model making, and finally to production.- Conduct periodic reengineering on existing products for process and cost improvement.Projects that I’ve worked on:- MicroMachine series like Star Wars helmet playsets and other miniature toys.- 6” action figures like Crash Dummies, Justice League and The Tick, etc.
