The LAAC is a 501(c)(3) non profit, program arts council based in Lewisville, NC. Founded in 1991, The LAAC's programs include: Piedmont Medieval / Fantasy Faire held bi-annually, The ARTsy Awards, Merlin's Concerts in support of the Forsyth Co. Humane Society, The LAAC Exhibiting Artists and Delegate Assembly and other visual and performing arts events.The LAAC's former festival, "The Lewisville Lawn Party" was held from 1991 - 2005 and hosted numerous headline acts including: former Monkee, Peter Tork and Shoe Suede Blues, Firefall, Poco, James Lee Stanley, The James House Band, Ronnie Stoneman, Acoustic Syndicate, Richard Mikuls and hundreds of other regional and local entertainers.
