The Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant (GRA) is a full-time position that provides support for both teaching and research activities in the Computer Science and Physics departments. The GRA will work with faculty members on research projects, assist with the teaching of undergraduate courses, and provide general support for the departments.Responsibilities:Research:Assist faculty members with research projects, including data collection, analysis, and writing.Attend research meetings and workshops.Present research findings at conferences and symposia.Teaching:Teach undergraduate courses, including lectures, recitations, and labs.Grade assignments and exams.Provide academic advising to students.General Support:Help with departmental events, such as the annual research symposium and the departmental open house.Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing grant proposals and managing student records.Qualifications:Master's degree in Physics.Strong research and teaching skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
