• Principal/Managing Consultant in Landmark’s Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa business unit and part of the Business Solutions and Services team responsible for Information Management. Responsibilities split between Business Development and delivery of consulting engagements – principally around Governance and Strategy• Programme Manager for a number of projects at Shell. Project trouble-shooter for projects picked up as part of a company acquisition. Projects were brought into line with Shell expectations and Landmark best practice. Client expectations were managed to ensure alignment.• Took over project management of a major project at Statoil following a company acquisition. Project phase was successfully delivered and rolled out to multiple business units.• Pacific Rubiales – Bogota – developed an improved set of process workflows for data and information management for this rapidly growing and highly successful South American oil & gas company• Developed a strategy for building the business and an engagement “toolset” to standardize and improve delivery of consultancy services

• Shell – Developed a sourcing strategy for services delivered to their Technical and Competitive IT organisation. Undertook a 3 month study to evaluate current sourcing landscape and developed a number of proposed strategies to ensure that the services met Shell's requirements for innovation, technical capability and value for money. Focused particularly on services related to Shell's Subsurface and SMART portfolios• Business Development – Developed a “go to market” strategy and marketing campaign and built up a network of oil industry contacts to help support Capgemini's push into the Aberdeen market for oil & gas related consultancy services.

• OMV/Petrom – Programme lead for a number of global Information Management projects. Defined a new data architecture for the OMV Petrom group based on a “service oriented architecture”. Developed and issued a tender for the master data store and information management tools technology to major vendors and developed internal evaluation criteria in order to evaluate and compare technical responses from the vendors.• MTJA (Malaysia/Thailand Joint Authority) – Data operations centre requirements study. Reviewed the requirements for long term technical information storage and for running day to day operations for the Malay/Thai joint operating area and produced a report outlining the options and preferred way forward.• RWE Dea Norge – Carried out an IS benchmarking study for RWE in Oslo, Norway. The project reviewed IS services and organisation and drew comparison with peer companies in the industry. The company successfully implemented recommendations for the new organisational structure.• Santos – Technical applications portfolio review. Carried out a study of the technical applications portfolio, developed a roadmap to achieve a rationalisation and modernisation of the portfolio and developed tender documents (RFP) in order for Santos to go to market.• Petronas Carigali – provided expert advice during a 5 week “action lab” to develop a step change in information management for Petronas' international E&P business• Chevron - provided expert business analysis as part of the Reservoir Management Upstream Competency group to support the roll out of SharePoint as a solution for unstructured information management. Worked closely with business units in Perth, Bangkok and Midland to model key business processes and conveyed the findings to the SharePoint deployment team.
