Headhunted to join Ascendas-Singbridge to provide guidance and direction on cost and contract related matters for development and AEI projects in Asia (Singapore, China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, Korea, Japan). Strategically reviewed and advised on consultants/contractors appointment and all cost and contract related matters prepared by Consultant QS at all stages of the projects. Key responsibilities continued as part of CapitaLand Group.

Headhunted to return to Banyan Tree Resorts, responsible for direction on cost and contract related matters for development and AEI projects in Asia Pacific. Led a team of 2 direct reports and up to 10 indirect reports depending on projects.

Headhunted to join KPK Quantity Surveyor which was subsequently acquired by Davis Langdon in 2012. Lead a team of 13 in Indonesia, responsible for P&L, running operations including managing bids, overseeing projects, managing clients and vendors, and recruiting staff. Also managed QS tasks including managing bids, resources, measuring off-quantities, preparing cost plans, the tender process and managing contractors.

Managed all costs activities of current and new projects including budget preparation, research, managing expenditure, and generating monthly cost reports. Worked with design and engineering consultants, from development to construction, assisting with site visits, cost, budget and sourcing needs during the projects.

Promoted through the ranks, managed a team of 4 surveyors, responsible for projects assessments and bids. Key tasks included estimating and measuring off-quantities, preparing cost plans, tender documents and reports, responding to tender interviews, administering contracts administration, ensuring standardization of documentation and managing contractors.
