I specialize in information for the general public, health consumers, youth, medical professionals and decision makers about healthy lifestyles, chronic disease prevention, HIV/AIDS, cannabis, tobacco control and other current issues. My clients include national and provincial health agencies, government departments, universities and other associations.

I currently write reports and knowledge products for a variety of clients at the Public Health Agency of Canada and Health Canada. I have also written for the Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care, the Canadian Best Practices Portal and worked on documents and reports for the Federal Initiative to Address HIV/AIDS in Canada.

Wrote content about accomplishments of CSA and its funded agencies to advance scientific knowledge and/or socioeconomic benefit for Canadians. This content is used to prepare web pages, social media posts, information bulletins, speeches, news releases, media backgrounders and other communications products for the general public and business audience.

I worked with Health Canada's Cannabis Legalization and Regulation Secretariat (CLRS) to write evidence-based messaging about cannabis for teens, young adults, parents, health professionals, pregnant and breastfeeding women, individuals with mental health challenges and seniors. These fact sheets will be used by CLRS as the basis for the development of future public education resources on cannabis including web content, fact sheets, brochures, etc.

Researched and produced CADTH's daily NewsWatch; an extensive scan of current media stories pertaining to health issues, new medications and medical devices, current research, etc.

I attended meetings of the CTFPHC and prepared a detailed report of the proceedings.
